Hi all,
Not feeling so spritely this morning so I'll keep it short. We are heading into the fuel dock at Puerto Culebra for fuel. We will be met by an agent who will deal with the immigration side of things. Once this is done, we will be able to step off the boat for a short time to refuel and use the shore side facilities. Hopefully there will be a shop or some kind of something here, but who knows? I will report back.
Well that was another race done, glad that's over. Unfortunately we are just running too late to race with the fleet to Bermuda. But we will catch them up. Until we reached the big wind hole prior to Finish Line 3 we were 2nd to Line 1 and 3rd to Line 2. This was with a circa 10 hour handicap for dropping off Di. Please give us an update Di, how are you doing?? Diane came off the boat half way through the race for some much needed medical attention following an injury to her eye. She has had a successful operation and is feeling very positive. What a fighter.
I'm looking forward to seeing Katie in Bermuda where all eleven boats will be next to each other again :)
